Occupational disease is the leading cause of death for workers in British Columbia, driven primarily by asbestos-related diseases. The Magic and Lethal Memorial honours workers who have died and all those who have been personally impacted by the tragedy of asbestos-related diseases.

Aims and objectives

The goal was to raise awareness around asbestos exposure, which is the largest on-the-job-killer in Canda. It also aims to highlight the newly unveiled asbestos memorial, located in Vancouver, British Columbia, honouring workers and their families that have been impacted by asbestos exposure.
